Dufferin-Peel Skating Club

DPSC STARSkate & Competitive Figure Skating 

The Dufferin‑Peel Skating Club partners with Teen Ranch to offer Skate Canada STARSkate and competitive figure‑skating programmes in a challenging yet supportive team environment. Ice time is scheduled Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday; additional off‑ice jump/spin sessions are included on certain days. Fees are charged per session and vary by semester; private and semi‑private lessons are arranged separately through the certified coaching team.

Annual club membership is $75 (or $10 if DPSC is not your home club), and HST will be added to all fees. Families enrolling for all three semesters or with three or more skaters receive a 10 % discount, and there is no mandatory fundraising.

FutureSTARS Enrichment Program

For skaters committed to excellence, the FutureSTARS Enrichment Programme spans Fall, Holiday and Winter semesters and costs $1 600 plus HST. Participants must skate three to four days per week and are encouraged to attend off‑ice technique classes, set goals, perform, compete and serve as positive role models. Learn to Skate 

Teen Ranch’s Learn‑to‑Skate programmes provide a fun, fast‑paced introduction to skating that covers everything from first steps on the ice to forwards, backwards, stops and turns. Certified coaches teach in small groups, building balance, control and agility; progress reports and awards keep skaters motivated. Participants can choose from beginner “Intro to Skating,” figure‑skating, hockey‑skating or pleasure‑skating tracks to match their interests. Sessions are offered during Fall, Holiday and Winter semesters on Monday and Friday evenings.
